Mahela Jayawardene Retired From Test Criket

Colombo: Sri Lankan middle order batsman Mahela Jayawardene retired from test cricket. His jersey number was 27.
He said that he is playing cricket for srilankan team for more than 18 years and he is proud of it. But now its time to say goodbye to cricket. And new talent will serve the team. He said that he want to see young and talented players n cricket team. Test series against pakistan will be last test series.
Mahela Jayawardene played first match in 1997 against india. He played 145 test matches and scored 11,493 runs. And in ODI cricket he played 420 matches and scored 11,681 runs. In T20 cricket he played 5 matches and scored 1,493 runs.

He played a great level of cricket and also played as captain in Sri lankan cricket. He was king of cricket for world cricket & hero of Sri lankan team.Sri lankan team will really miss him,
